Some procedural tiling materials I have created inside of Substance Designer for fun. The focus here has been on colour maps and normals. Definitely happy with the results; I have been keeping attention to the nuance in the Albedo with spots of other colours and subtle blending to prevent anything from appearing flat. I now feel ready to start aiming the future to start getting more complex and get shapes beyond the base normals into my next materials.
Each has been created in Designer and rendered with Marmoset Toolbag. On average they took around 4 hours to finish; this included planning, creating a first pass that finds the majority of key details, and then balances and tweaking.
